CHILD LABOUR LEGISLATION IN INDIA

The present study is focused on child labor legislation in India. It traces the underlying features behind legal provisions pertaining to child labor and examines their functions. An attempt has been made in this study to assess the enforcement of the Employment of children Act, 1986, the two acts directly dealing with child labor.
